Welcome
On November 10-12th, 2010 the 3rd edition of the workshop Update on Alzheimer Research will take place in San Diego, USA as a Satellite event to the Society for Neuroscience.
The welcome reception and registration is on Tuesday night, November 9th 2010. Already we would like to thank The International Society on Alzheimer Research (ISAO) and the American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF) for their support so we can keep the registration fee low and therefore open to PhD students from all over the world.
This is your chance as a PhD student / post doc / scientist to expand your horizon from your own small research topic via lectures, workshops, scientific debates and to discuss with other PhD students current research developments in experimental and clinical AD presented by experts in the field.
The workshop will be organized as a Master Class i.e. morning lectures and afternoon / evening debates and discussion groups. Scientists and students will meet in a closed venue The catamaran resort hotel in San Diego Bay.
Our goal is to have a high interaction between senior scientists and PhD students and therefore our lecturers are state of the art researchers AND good teachers!
