On November 10-12th, 2010 the 3rd edition of the workshop Update on Alzheimer Research took place in Mission Bay in the Catamaran Resort Hotel. This workshop, organized every two years asa a satellite event to the SfN, is sponsored by the The International Society on Alzheimer Research (ISAO) and the American Health Assistance Foundation (AHAF) to facilitate that experts in the field will meet with PhD students to discuss Alzheimer's Disease.
This year 33 participants registered from 9 countries: Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, South Korea, Sweden, Switserland, United States and they discusses Alzheimer's through lectures, workshops, presentations and debates. In this way the studentd, as well as the experts, expanded their horizons and broaden their perspective on Alzheimer's disease.
