During this workshop we organized three types of interactive workshops.
Discussion group
During the discussion groups you'll discuss in small groups controversial aspects in Alzheimer research. Input is given by the lectures of the specific day as well as from papers, send to you before participating in the workshop. The lecturers contributing to the workshop moderate the discussion groups.
Workgroup Scientific Debate
You'll be placed in a group of students of different nationalities. You will receive a statement related to science and AD. We'll ask you to either oppose or to defend this statement on Friday night. During the workshop time is scheduled for you to prepare you for this exciting skill and event.
Workgroup Choose a model
The organization will address several hypotheses and you together with your group of students are expected to choose a model to test the hypotheses. Think about why you choose a model, the limitations, other options and what to expect......
